    Get used to it.  The genie is out of the bag.  Nuclear
destruction, of cities by terrorists, of nations by other nations, is
INEVITABLE.  Move at least 100 miles from an obvious nuclear target
and go survivalist and stop whining about it.
   The ONLY solution is for the PEOPLE OF THE WORLD to rise up and
dismantle their militaries -- which also will mean dismantling of
their nation states.  This way people will have less motivation to use
them and less resources to build and deliver them.  Then the main
thing we'll need is a lot of non-profits collecting money to bury the
radioactive debris for the next 100,000 years.
